In 2012 Travel 2 U celebrate our 15th birthday so we’ve put together an exciting line-up of tours worthy of such an occasion.
In addition to our ‘personally escorted tours’ we’re also arranging several special interest tours. The first of these is our Romantic Italy – for ‘Nearly Serious Painters’ lead by inspiring artist Ivan Button, painting the striking Spring colours of the Cinque Terre, Tuscany, Venice and Italian Lakes, in April.
In May we return to the popular Egypt and Jordan, led jointly once again by Salah, our enthusiastic (Kiwi) Egyptian and one of the Travel 2 U team. An incredible destination, receiving high praise from past tour members. Egypt and Jordan is everything good about Agatha Christie and Indiana Jones rolled into one.
Our next tour is for anyone contemplating travel to the UK whether it’s your first time or your fifteenth. Great Britain – Scenes Seldom Seen takes you to places you’ve always dreamt of, and a few old favourites done differently. Canal boating, scenic trains, castles, lochs, and even the odd distillery! The itinerary is comprehensive but the pace is easy.
Then for the first time, this July, we introduce Russia, Scandinavia and the Baltics by popular demand! Consisting of two fantastic cruises, one exploring Norwegian Fjords and the other Scandinavian and Baltic treasures. Combined with time in both Hamburg and Copenhagen and an option to return via Moscow, this tour is certain to sell out fast, so be quick.
Our Canada & Alaska Cruise Tour remains a favourite, and in 2012 we join the celebrations at the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede. This tour remains true to its roots (with some cosmetic enhancements). Our longest running tour to date. Come along and find out why!
